Nina Wilén on how rebels think about sexual violence

Nina Wilén, guest researcher at the Department of Political Science, has together with Bert Ingelaere at the University of Antwerpen published the article "War-torn Congo has been called the “rape capital of the world.” Here is how fighters think about sexual violence."

"Here's what we've missed until now: How do rebels think about sexual violence? That's what we asked former rebels in Congo". Nina Wilén and Bert Ingelaere at the University of Antwerpen have interviewed over 100 former rebels.
