The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge of EU Law and the ability to analyse its implications on national law and policy decisions. This course is structured in two parts. The first part is an introduction to the institutional framework, the sources of law and the legislative process of the European Union. This is followed by the enforcement of EU law and the relationship between EU law and national law. The second part of the course concentrates on central areas of the internal market, social policy, tax law, external relations and their national policy implications.
